Being new here, I just have to know why so many women are fixated on what sex would be like with Steve Perry. I mean, the man DOES have a mind. I think intelligent, stimulating conversation with the man would be more of a turn on than having to worry about whether the Viagra will work or not.

This sounds exactly like something one says when they don't want to admit their own fantasies of riding the Beak.
(yeah. I said it.)

Are we seriously talking about Perry sex here? I mean... seriously?

LOL. I am sure MOST of us ladies have "dreamed" of what it would be like, but seriously, isn't what is in the mind and heart of a man or, THE MAN , in this case, matters most?
I would much rather have him as a friend than a lover.

Just saying...................

You say that now until your cats start getting mystery bruises and black eyes. Some friend :x

Oh dear. So there is a possibility that Mr Steve Perry is capable of domestic violence?!
That would NOT be good. :x Of course, we know the "die hard fans" would dispute that.

Never in a million years Gunby. 8)

Purrkat, its a joke aimed at those who think SP is this horrible guy who ruined Journey all by himself and take personal offense at the fact that he won't sing anymore... one day we were making fun of how people just blame him for everything and Rhiannon said he probably punches kittens too. That's when I named him the kitten puncher. Its nothing but a joke.

I need to save that ^ somewhere for easy copy/paste because you guys keep talking about his kitten abuse in front of newbies. Even better... I'll stop explaining it and let it run and you'll hear him on the radio next year going "I have no idea how I got this reputation as a cat abuser but I keep getting nasty emails from PETA..."

Seriously, maybe he just prefers the actual company of a woman.

Purrkat:

Nothing against conversation, and of course, you have to have laughter, then PASSION.....

I mean once you've fallen for this guy:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7mTlL1F ... re=related

you can never just discuss Proust with him without wanting to MELD, ya know???

And for the young guys, you think you can be sexier than THAT guy????

Yeah, I kinda figured someone wasn't on the up and up. If SP was a kitten puncher I would definitely be the first to know.

I met SP years ago. I tried my feline best to annoy by climbing all over him during a meeting, but he remained gentle & patient. I've since perfected an "ignore" technique that will surely get his goat next time.

The Giants are SP's team, Dan. He's said so many times. I guess there's just not much to root for the last few years.

Strange that he'd be wearing a Dodger's hat if he was a Giant's fan though. Sacre bleu! The fan hatred runs deep between those teams. That's on par with being a Yankee fan and attending a Red Sox/Angels game with a Sox hat on. I'd say he's more of a fan of the game itself (with a lean towards the Giants based on his past quotes).

us Giant fans really don't like the Dodgers much..
