Well, they've already made the playoffs with Turner as the coach. That said, I agree with you, 100% that he is about as competent of a head coach as that dope Phillips in Dallas is!

I officially need a new team.

The Bengals are dead to me.

The search begins now. It can't be the Steelers, Patriots, Colts, Cowboys, Raiders, or Browns.

Hmm....

Cowboys had 172 offensive yards today. The least yardage ever in club history to win a game. A sad testament.

Great list, but not sure I agree with the order. I think Jerry Jones is the most meddling owner in sports, and I don't respect the guy at all. That said, the Cowboys have at least won with Jones, as their owner. Phillips has always been a complete jackass, everywhere he has been. He actually got up in front of the media before last year's New England game and said "We plan to force Tom Brady to beat us". The insinuation was that Brady wasn't up to the task. Dallas was undefeated at the time, and proceeded to get completely dismantled by Tom Brady and the Patriots! Brady had almost 400 yards passing, so it looks like that dope Phillips had quite the grand plan! I still can't believe that he said what he said in front of TV cameras!

As for Terrell Owens...he has ALWAYS been a cancer in the locker room. He has thrown every QB he has ever had under the bus, and the guy is a complete JERK! He's been an asshole everywhere he has played, and that will never change. Brad Johnson's only crime is that he is old. He was a reasonable QB when he was slinging the football to Randy Moss and Chris Carter. He also has a championship ring, which is more than you can say for almost everyone else on that Cowboys team!

Now... the aftermath.

Tampa/Dallas. Dallas' defense really stepped up. They tormented and harassed Garcia and his offense all game long. Tampa had plenty of scoring chances, including the final drive, but Dallas brought heat. It looked like Garcia had Graham on the release but he was covered over the top and Garcia went to the right man but a little off target with a man in his face. Impressive win by the Cowboys, but their offense still RANKS, and Brad Johnson still sucks.

NE/St.Louis. Closer than anticipated. Rams gave them a game. A good one too. The Rams are no longer an easy W in the win Column. Tied up 16 all at one point in the game but NE pulls it out in true Patriot fashion and moves to a quiet 5-2.

Giants/Stillers. Great Game. I disagree with '78. Even though it was a great one, it doesn't beat out the fact that the game was lost the way it was lost, but when it comes down to it, the Giants handed us our 2nd loss, coming up big when it counted. The Story of this game- 0 Turnovers, 0 sacks. Kudos to the Giants for playing mistake free football. 100% of the time it's the team who makes the least mistakes who win the game, and this was the case in this one. Stillers' defense maned up and really played well enough to win the game. Came up with some nice stands and tightend up when needed..except on 4th and 6. Play of the game. Perfectly thrown ball over the top of corner who was previously injured and taking advantage of a backup safety. I've never seen a long snapper and punter get injured, IN THE SAME GAME. I said in order for the Stillers to win, Ben needed to have an above average game. Lets just say he failed miserably but managing 3rd and longs due to penalty's doesn't help an offense, esp. one that has trouble protecting its Quarterback. Good win for the Giants. They won it late. That's what good teams do.

Indy beats the unbeaten tonight. (Don't make me look bad, Peyton  )
