Neal...I love you dude, but you GOTTA button that shirt man!!!  Very cool clips though! I wish they would have played "What I needed" on the tour...best song on the album in my opinion.

Cool stuff again... does Neal really play those chords that high up on DSB live these days or was he just mimicing Cain's organ line from the chorus? At any rate, really cool.

I love hearing/seeing Neal behind the scenes... mainly because I haven't seen much. That video of him demoing his Les Paul is still one of my favorite vids to watch to this day.

G.I. Jim, I love What I Needed also, but I also wish they had sung Turn Down The World Tonight. I think Arnel does a beautiful job on that song. That's my favorite off Revelation.

And, I agree with Mrs. Perry, Neal can wear his shirts as open as he wants. Fine by me.

The more and more I see of these clips the more and more I think Neal Schon is the main creative genius behind Journey. His guitar work is just incredible. I can't even imagine what an Escape era Perry would have sounded like on What I Needed. Though it's very similar in tension, emotion and intensity to Mother, Father.
