No actually I am in Texas. "Wreck em Tech!" is a saying for Texas Tech. My son is a junior there and the game last Saturday was awesome. Hoping they will repeat it this Saturday against OSU, but who knows. I just want to another exciting game and see the return of Big Phil! That guy is hilarious!

:) Hello there, LLL!
Welcome to the board...we're just a bunch of passionate crazed Journey fans here!
Have you bought your copy of Revelation and what do you think of Arnel and this chapter of Journey? Did you catch a show this year?

Post away.....

I'll always play nice with you, after that sentiment. They can (and will) keep imitating Perry until they all drop dead, but it will never come close to what it was. Thank god that all that great music was recorded!

Nope, didn't buy Revelation or see Journey on tour this year.

You should at least give Revelation a listen...it's a great CD, really!
Are you one of those fans that refuse to listen to any anything Journey has done, post Perry?
I never understood that mindset...is it just a matter of principle for you? Let's remember, it is Steve Perry that walked away from this band.

I understand where you're coming from, LLL; although, that's not my opinion. But I can appreciate it. And I'm sure others for SP, SA and JSS might feel the same way. For me, seeing Neal up there on stage is magical. Nothing like it. I love, love Jonathan Cain. Ross is, well, Ross. And Deen is such a talent to me with his drumming, backup tenor vocals, and on stage when he does lead vocals. Arnel has a great voice with a lot of range and a big heart and does honor to the classics and to their new music. So I'm emotionally attached again to the "whole band" b/c there's a tremendous energy on stage. And these guys are still hot even though they're getting up there in age, and they're playing with a hell of a lot of passion. I'm trying to enjoy this ride with them and hope it lasts for a long time to come.
