Did anyone watch this show last night? Or does anyone have the energy to go to ABC.com and watch the end of the episode and reprt back? I'm interested to see if this is true.

I heard random Steve Perry. I walk over to the TV and I'm like, "Am I hearing this? Oh shit, there'll be a thread on MR about this, I know it."![]()
Thanks, Lynn. I also saw that's on NBC.com. My friend is a moron.StevePerryHair wrote:You know, I saw it and had it on DVR, but I think my husband erased it. I THOUGHT it might be Arnel too, because it didnt' sound like the original or enough like Perry. I'd love to know. Problem was I kept falling asleep while we were watching it and woke up to the song so I didn't now if I was half asleep or if it was ArnelOh, and it wasn't "Lights" it was LTS! Did Arnel even re-record that song???

It was not Lights, and My Name is Earl is not on ABC. If we're talking about last night's show, it was LTS and it WAS the original Evolution version with Steve Perry. Whoever is post-production on that show is a Journey fan because they use Journey a lot (always the Perry versions).
And I heard it and thought the same... "good lord, here comes the thread."

That's what I thought.
...Can anyone confirm the random Chicago on the show? Or do I now just aurally hallucinate Cetera?

Wayne. For those of you that were in Virginia at DC Vader's (awesome) bash he was the dude with the shaved head that recorded the Frontiers concert. That bootleg that hit the internet was recorded by Wayne. He's an asshole if that helps jar anyone's memory.Tito wrote:stevew2 wrote:Tito knows he isSaint John wrote:Thanks, Lynn. Anybody else noticed when they list the writing credits now (both on the cd & dvd), they pushed SP from the 1st position to last?Could be that's why they didn't want to re-record L-T-S (which was their very 1st Top 20 hit) ... no place to take him down (he was the sole writer).

They used Survivor's Eye Of The Tiger on at least one occasion as well.

Yes, "Earl" actually sings that one and now when I hear that song I just think of that and him singingKind of like Cartman singing Come Sail Away, it's just never the same again
