Yup, know about that one, used to share a house with three diabetic flatmates. Still not going to show my pancreas in support, tho'. :D  I will, however, be hooking up with said ex-flatmates and doing our annual raising-awareness-for-a-day routine. Basically, they are all concerned that young sufferers realise it doesn't have to stop your life, and want to make non-sufferers aware of a) the symptoms that you might have it and b) how to deal with a diabetic in hyper/hypo-glycemia, coupled with a little fundraising fun. Generally it's a full day of some sporting activity, but this year one of them is bucking for a 12 hour dance-a-thon. Which, pancreas showing aside, why I am thankful it's one day and not a whole month!

Define 'propositioned'.

Flirted with? Daily, pretty much (hell, it's fun!). Chatted up? Yes, reasonably often. Invited to meet for sex (without any other pre-amble)? Twice. Had flirting lead to similar invitation? A few times, maybe a dozen over the years. Considered taking up offer? Only once, and no, nothing physical has happened.

And no, I've never been propositioned over the internet before. And if I were to have been, I would have replied by telling them to go fuck themselves.

so you'd be a willing participant?

Even if I wasn't married, I still wouldn't be a willing participant. The only exception to this would be if Lucy Liu herself was the one doing the propositioning, and if I was single

I mistook ear drops for eye drops once. Put a few drops in and my eye burned like hell. I thought, "Damn, my eyes must be really irritated", so I put them in AGAIN! I finally chose to actually read the bottle after that.

Reminds me of one day back in late 85', a friend and I were getting ready to go out to meet up with some chicks. He was "showing me the ropes" so to speak he was about five years older then me and I was just a young barely legal Jeti pimp in training. So dude is putting on his Zoot Suit and then starts screaming that his armpits are burning the piss out of him. Shortly thereafter, he comes to find out that he mistaked his sister's Nair roll on hair remover for roll on underarm deoderant. By the time we were ready to go to meet the chicks, he had lost all his pit hair.

Yeah, a lot of times, but like what you said Carla, it's really dangerous, often times when the guy hinted at planning on meeting me even we just known each other onlline in a short period of time, i got easily disappointed, but i'm glad that i meet a lot of riends online and i think that's enough for me. I still prefer someone i know personally.

I think a lib may have told me to "kiss their ass" a couple of times. Does that count? I doubt it since it was typically followed by "you dumb fuck" or "fucking idiot". :(

I did get propositioned in traffic this morning, of all places. Dude rolled up on me and asked me out. I thought that was a real weird way to hit on someone so I declined, and was later told I was dumb for doing so. Fail.
