Even though that's who drafted him, I personally remember him more as a Raider. The Patriot era was before my time.

I was never a big fan of JLT....he siglehandedly pussied-up Rainbow. 'Street of Dreams', and 'Stone Cold', PUH-LEASE! And that rat-ass Graham Bonnet did his share of pussifying himself.

Really? I agree it was a different band from Dio's era, but JLT stuff was very good. I thought Graham Bonnet was lighter if anything. JLT in Yngwie twore the house down.

I always thought that Blackmore was the one responsible for pushing them into the Top 40 arena. Dio wanted to rock harder, Graham couldn't hit the notes of the older Dio songs, so A+B = Turner.

Rainbow became pussified the moment Dio was no longer in the band.

Blackmore has said that "Slaves And Masters" is his favorite Deep Purple album ever. And as you probably know, JLT was the lead singer on that album. "Slaves And Masters" was largely a AOR type album.

I love RJ Dio he really was amazing with Rainbow (and with al the bands he is involved), he is one the most talented vocals ever (i saw him twice here in Chile, and he still have got his beautiful voice), but common Difficult to cure, Straight Between the eyes and Bent out of shape are great albums...I love Rainbow! :D

No way - Tim Feehan, as in Canadian-born/Full Contact/used-to-be-with Footloose etc. Tim Feehan? I've never seen anyone mention him on here before - love it! :) Off to YouTube I go, haven't heard his stuff in ages (well, except I have the dorky Footloose video saved as a favorite )

I think Bonnet tried to keep them as rockers but he couldn't match DIO. When JLT joined it was AOR all the way.

Just like Canadian Sebastian Bach on my list......in interviews he sometimes comes across as an ass  .......but damn the guy's got a great voice...especially when he lets it rip....like near the end of this clip. Just like JSS, he's not just a heavy metal rock vocalist. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDnuwkjEcnU
