Why? So more stand up guys like JSS can get pink slips from singers of other bands in other countries?
The guy's trash and you know it. He's a yeast infected cod piss twinkle toed cross dresser that would make a greasy lawyer eat dog shit out of his shoe for a day to escape the stink of friga's vag....
lay down the crack pipe tito. friga's not a good man....he just plays one when there is a camera present...
Who fuckin cares what he's like. The man is a musician who makes music I enjoy. I don't care what else he does or doesn't do.
If you couldn't detect a bit of a
tongue-in-cheek flair to my post, I can't help you.
However, just to clarify, let me put on my serious hat for a second. Jon Friga might have been a good guy in front of Jeremey. He might have been a good guy to Tito (but I'll submit, Friga could have given Tito a proctal exam with a glue covered fist dipped in broken glass, and Tito would love him for it)....he might be one of th better family men in Journey. I'll submit, when you compare Friga to Neal "mr family values" Schon, Fro makes Friga look like dad of the year....hell, Fro would make Alec Baldwin look like dad of the year.
...but I still think that he has conducted himself in the music business (and there's sufficient evidence to support such a claim) with pure disdain. He's climbed the ladder on knive handles sticking out of the backs of people he stepped on to get where he is.
I don't know about you, but I'm not able to disconnect my ethics with a switch when I walk into the office....and it's a hell of alot easier to exist ethicless, but turn on a 'good guy' switch once in a while...than to be have ethics...and lose them once in a blue moon when you dont need them. It goes against the very defining aspect of ethics.
As far as whether or not you care if Friga or anyone else you listen to is a good or bad person?...this is a question that has been debated here since long before you (and even I) have been posters. If you can disconnect your disdain for the person from your love of the music, to protect your love of the music. Mooooore power to ya.
Personally, I can do it to an extent....but I'll submit that it's hard for me to enjoy listening to someone I know has stabbled others in the back (and even harder knowing that he did the stabbing so that he can be playing on my CD player instead of someone else)....but what seals the deal, is knowing there are good musicians out there, that appreciate my support as a fan and appreciate my contributions to their pockets, as I purchase their music. I make a conscious decision to support those musicians....
I'm not on here every day bashing Friga and Fro...well, Fro deserves it....but come on...Tito's vag flapping about how Friga is the bastion of goodness is nauseating......there needs to be some checks and balances here...
