Paul Gilbert playing Suite Modale by Ernest Bloch.

This is a piece that I teach, and perhaps overteach, to my flute students.

He played this at the Ibanez show during NAMM 2009, His set was immediately followed by RACER X!!!

Paul Gilbert is an amazing player. Not only that but he has a great sense of humor as well.

this is the Ibanez line up for that night:

Andy Timmons. can I just mention this? DANG!!! He played the night before at the Simon Phillips too. dang.

Paul Gilbert solo stuff.

AND THEN RACER X. oops--Im shouting aren't I? :oops:

quite an evening. massive shredding. wow.

there were some EM sightings but I didn't see him. Pam said he sounded kinda horse when she talked to him. he was at the Taylor booth for Shaw/Blades.
