I would hope not. Danny Bowes is a perfect foil for Luke Morley's songwriting in Thunder, and Thunder are a British National Treasure.

I saw Tyketto last night in Dudley. All members of the band, new and old, were on fine form. They always sound much heavier live than on record.

Afterwards the whole band came out and spent ages meeting and chatting to fans.

Oh, I agree that breaking up Thunder would be a crime--much akin to pulling Bob Catley away from Magnum. VERY underrated band, and neither Danny nor Luke get nearly the respect that they should. One can only hope that Danny's vague mention of Thunder hitting the US in the future comes to pass. Barnes showed up, but hit the wrong side of the continent, and I'm not going to NYC just to see him make a guest spot with the Adelaide Orchestra.

Still, if I was a manager of a band Barnes was in (ie Cold Chisel) and needed a new singer, Danny would be high on the list.

Ooo, look! There's Brooke way off the right.

Debbie

P.S. For Pam, did they stick Jimi in the back for all 3 shows? Seems kind of sucky that an original member gets shoved to the back for 2 newcomers.

Debbie, Jimi did stand in the background most of the time at all 3 shows. I think he likes it back there, he seems so shy and rarely smiles but I talked to him and he was friendlier than I thought he would be.
