Tortament? Is that some new law terminology? What the Hell dude, you make no sense whatsoever.
And to be fair to the Queen of Journey, Mrs Joan Cain-Friga, it wasn't her idea to play that show, it was Neal's. Frig popped open some Pilgrim books and a couple encyclopedias and copied a few gay Quaker words and Puritan references and called it good.
In Soto's defense, he had nothing to do with the writing on this shit song. Like some said, he just had to make it listenable. I am surprised Friga couldn't work in the words, "saving grace yet again."

Me too. Poor JSS looked up in the air and saw Friga and Schon's shit cascading down on him. he never had a chance.

OMG this song is terrible - the lyrics sound like a 6th grade history report for Thanksgiving. I was under
the (evidently false) impression that this was the first song JSS wrote with the band and when Neal heard it, he
decided it didn't sound like Journey (no kidding) and that they couldn't move forward as Journey because of it.
But if JSS had nothing to do with the writing of this song, that it was lacking the "Journey sound" had nothing to
do with him. His vocals are the only thing that made listening to most of it bearable. I don't think Steve Perry
could have saved this song and he could sing the phone book and make it sound good.
