I used to work with a Greek guy named Tommy, who was very nice, but always smelled weird. A coworker identified it as garlic because Tommy ate EVERYTHING with alot of garlic on it or in it.
Then of course there's those people who just don't bother with hygiene. I currently work with 2 guys who smell all the time. They claim to shower daily, but they fail to understand that hygiene does NOT end with a shower and soap. If you go to sleep in the same dirty bed with the same dirty sheets, sit on the same nasty-ass furniture, get into the same gross smelly truck and come to work, that shower becomes a MOOT POINT!
I had a roommate who would do laundry once every two months, shower once every two or three days (at night, so he'd be greasy from sleep and reek by mid-day whenever he got around to bathing), wear the same shirt to the gym three or four days in a row, not shower after the gym, ate pizza/pizza bites/breaded chicken tenders/hamburgers for every meal (even at 10 AM), never washed sheets, had one towel, drank the shittiest beer, didn't cut his hair for a year. Basically every disgusting lifestyle choice you could make, he did. Probably the most foul-smelling human being I've ever been around. At least he was somewhat physically active, hitting the gym soft about 3 times a week for 45 mins. Sucked when he'd come back and refuse to shower.
