Jeremey & Frontiers Coming to Houston Friday 3/6

For those of you that have been to the Meridian before, what's the situation on ease of finding the place and parking, etc.?

Right on the edge of downtown, not the best of neighborhoods. They have a parking lot across the street. The place is a dive, frankly, but they seem to get decent acts on a regular basis. I saw Gregg Allman there. And JSS.

Can we pay at the door or do we need to buy the tickets ahead of time?

Don't try to buy at the door. I thought we'd be able to in Cleveland, and it had sold out a day or two beforehand. Good thing we got ourselves arranged in advance.

And get there before the doors open if you want to be near the stage/be able to see the band ... big dark room with a low ceiling and a very few tables toward the back

there's a positive - I look better in the dark anyway

sorry to ask so many questions, but , here's another...Is 7:30 early enough? (my usual club circuit is in the Latin time zone, which tends to lean towards the late)

It should be; doors are at 8:00; I'm assuming they will be in the main room; folks line up on the stairs outside; for the Gregg Allman show there was quite a line; I'm not sure what the situation will be for Frontiers.

Kingwood is north of Houston on 59. Maybe 30-45 minute drive from venue.

If it works out well for the band maybe Texas will be on their schedule more often. I really appreciate them making this long drive so we get to enjoy one of their shows. I've had a big silly grin on my face for two days now. Whaddya call it Deb? A Perma-grin.

This is currently the only Texas show scheduled for March, but let's blast the place with a huge Texas welcome and turnout. WE can make it possible for more and more future Texas shows. After the awesome reviews members here gave the Cleveland show last week, I for one can not wait to see the show!

I am lucky enough to live in Houston, but for all of you Dallas and San Antonio fans if you can make it here that Friday night, you know it will be worth the trip! Start now putting in for time off from work that Friday, etc. whatever it takes, just get down here! Spread the word to all the Texas JH/Frontiers fans you know and bring them along for what we know will be one fantastic performance!
