Wow, that's pretty scary. If a person gets kicked by a freaked out deer they could really get hurt. I hope the deer are OK. This reminds me of the time the coyote walked into a Quiznos in downtown Chicago a couple of years ago and laid down in the soft drink cooler.

I was at the Vet's Office not too long ago with my cat......while I was waiting, I saw a gorgeous, adult male, BIG Doberman Pinscher there; he looked dazed - shaking, back arched, ears down....he wouldn't look at anyone...

I asked his owner what happened - the guy said: "Oh, he got a little TOO cocky & carried away...ran after a big deer to chase it off our property, and the deer didn't like it - so, he kicked my dog with both of his back legs."

Yipe....
