+1 Hey Deano, I'm a straight woman and I'd rather look at hockey threads with hot babes than Gideon and Deacon's debate 101. Sometimes I think Gideon likes to pontificate so much he created an alter ego in House er... I mean Deacon just so he can lecture us all some more. Or is it the other way around?

It's neither. Gideon has his opinions and I have mine. Sometimes they correlate, others they don't. For example, Gideon thinks that Deano is funny. I don't.

Anyway kid, I've been listening to rock music long before you were a twinkle in your daddy's eye. I don't need to read the constant lecture...capiche?

Ah, you see, it isn't a lecture because I am totally open to any dissent as long as it is justified whenever I'm debating with someone. Alas, with age comes wisdom, I'll let you keep that implication, but, don't let it cloud your vision. Just because I'm only 16 doesn't mean that I don't know my fair share of facts or have my fair share of opinions.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't have a voice or express an opinion, but for god's sake, lighten up a little. This is a rock forum, not your masters thesis.

You say that just as I've been joking around with Deano, as well as attempting a cordial conversation with him. Of course, let's just ignore that little bit of gold shall we?

Or, better yet, the numerous discussions that I have with people after Deano has stomped off from getting berated so much.

Nice to just unwind and talk about the things I love with folks here that have a simmular love. Now not to say we don't get into "discussions", LOL! But in the end I find I love most folks here just as they are.

Deano has a charm once you know it. I don't agree with him on many things......but I give him the respect to be just who he is. Arianddu is a great lady, and I love her spirit. BJG as well. Rhi is full of wit, and makes me crack up out loud! And I could go on. We have good folks here.
