I know Tiger is great, and I get it said that i'm being racist for saying these things, but it has nothing to do with his color. If you're an ass, you're an ass, no matter your skin color. He's a baby. Nobody else on that tour does the stuff he does. Golf has always been a game of class and dignity and he has neither. I root for ANYONE other than tiger to win every tournament. I love Lefty, also. He fucks it up sometimes, but never curses, bitches or pouts. And they should make tiger play more than half of the tournaments if he's gonna play. Jack and Arnie played all the time, because they felt obligated for the good of the sport.

Agreed. Golf is a hell of a skill, but athletes? They should test them for PED's. Tiger has bulked up too much. I know a lot of those guys aren't muscular, but PED's can help with many other things besides strength. Especially with recovery time. Just like in baseball there have been as many pitchers busted as hitters. Until they knew exactly who was and wasn't on stuff, the whole era to me is the same.

But hell, there have been all kinds of PED's through the years. 90's roids, 80's cocaine, 70's amphetamines, 60's had marijuana, in the 50's caffiene and sugar. ALL of those things aren't illegal but they all enhance performance to some degree. They've been doing it forever.

And yes Tiger is a frontrunner. Hate him.

I play it and can have the best game of my life one day...and shit the next... thats why we love it.. but these guys are not athletes as we know it. You can birdie the toughest hole out there....then double bogey a par 3....there is no logic in golf, peroid.

Agreed, Rick. It's a fun activity/game. No doubt about it. Throw in beer and legal drinking and driving (I think! ) and it's about as fun as any game there is!

Golfers are as atheltic as athlete. Most golfers are in the same shape as baseball players, are just as atheltic as a 350 pound left tackle. Golf is probably the sungle hardest sport out there too make it as a pro. Only 150 golfers have full time status on the PGA tour. This compared to all other sports is a very small #. No performance no pay in golf.....just like tennis. Golfers have trainers, strength coaches and swing coaches. This is different from baseball how where there is a manager, bench coach, hitting coach, first base coach, third base coach etc.

Dont get me wrong I love baseball but people under estimate golf and how hard it actually is. Charles Barkley use to be a 9 0r 10 handicap meaning he shot 78-85 every time he played. Then BaM he has the worst swing in golf and his own TV show to fix it.
Greg Norman changed the way golf was played and was the first golfer to include lifting weights into his golf game

Golf includes hand eye, balance, concentration, focus many of the same things it takes to hit a baseball.
Which is probably the single hardest thing to do in sports. Hit a moving round ball with a round bat square enough to get a hit.
