I had a similar post a few weeks ago. Heard it in Macy's.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

I think the point is that I was shocked to hear it ANYWHERE other than my car.

Actually, it's Muzak. That's the correct company name. If it's not them that is licensing the Journey tunes, maybe it's one of their competitors, like DMX or Sirius Business.

Well then, when your parents raised you they must have instilled in you the morals equivelant to that of a fruit fly. Or in your case it'd probably be the Tse-Tse.

If you need a filipino ex-drug addict to make you a better person, you've got a lot more issues than being an bad person. Are people so weak natured that they require inspiration from a person who isn't even in their circle of family or friends to help steer their moral compass? Isn't that what religion or having selfworth instilled by your own parents is all about?

I see where the street kids could get a felling of adulation for Arnel, but you people, were you all brought up as micreants amid decrepit circumstances?

Enlighten me as to how Arnel has made you a better person. What was missing in your life that you have now obtained by just being aware of this individual's existence?

To date, I've not heard any of the new Journey music being played in public places over the radio. Wish it wasn't that way, but that's how it's been. I'd love to hear the new stuff being played.
