"Glad to hear you enjoyed Immortal! Personally I thought they were not as good as when I saw them two years, but mostly because they were more or less repeating their routines from last time. Still a real energetic performance though.
Favs for my day and a half included Kivimetsan Druidi and Hot Leg, but the real highlight was a magical performance
from Journey. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish.
Sound problems were evident all throughout unfortunately, and indeed the weather was dreadful compared to prior SRFs. But those are the breaks.
It was great catching up with Madjock, Steve and (briefly at the Airport) Ravenheart, and meeting up with Ramone and his lot was a treat too. I'll certainly be considering doing this again if I don't go for the whole festival next year."
Another one:
"I saw Journey for the first time at Sweden Rock 2006. Three long years have passed by, and three long years have passed by as I've been longing to hear that piano intro of "Don't Stop Believin'" one more time. So when the they played it, I simply couldn't hold back the tears of joy. Incredible.
The whole show was a massive hit attack for the giant audience at the Festival stage. Arnel's voice sounded amazing and Neil played the guitar like a god.
I especially enjoyed the finishing guitar solo in "Be Good To Yourself". During "Faithfully", many grown men were crying, including myself.
It was absolutely beautiful.
The highlight of Sweden Rock 2009 for me. Thank you! "

Steve Perry did several years ago. I'm surprised you hadn't heard that one before!
I knew I could count on you.
At THIS show, was it Mighty Mouse or David Banner?

Sorry man, I'm on leave today, but sitting here bored to death in my office waiting on an appointment to show up. How do you like that? You can judge my level of boredom based on the level of smart-ass-iness I exhibit in here. I'm pretty bored today.

Had to be Deen. And it was right after Mother, Father so I'm sure it was Deen.

Yep! Waiting on an album to write itself takes a LONG time, so I get bored quite often. That and the fact that I have a short attention span.
