There's some small issues with his voice, but overall if I was in a club, I'd be entertained by this band.

I agree. They actually covered this quite well and the harmonies were very good overall.

Wow, great harmonies. The band sounds really good. The lefty guitar player isn't bad.

The music and background vocals were pretty good but when the lead was on his own all I could think of was ...

Was thinking the same, like the sound/music, but not digging the lead singer's vocals on his own as much....too high. My fave Journey tribute vocals would probably be Juan's (DSB) he's got more of a Frontier's era tone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFD36bhKVF4 but yet can hit the early highs, quite the set of pipes...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I--sap81a04

In singing there's a thing called Cartoon voice, when you practice and do warm ups, there's a warm up you do, and you sound like a cartoon character. This guy is good, just too much cartoon voice going on, which doesn't sound that natural because it's put on... but I think a little less wouldn't hurt.

What in the hell is the world coming to? I mean, kids who have nothing better to do than cover Journey songs......WTF?
These teachers these days are whacked.
They should be covering Britney and other stuff that goes nowhere. 60 year old teachers should not be trying to push off memories of their firmer mammaries onto these kids....C'mon!
