They did side A of Escape about two months ago.
It's a cool program. Decent station, too.

Here's another age thing...remember when radio could premiere the entire album at Midnight. I used to have a timer set up on my stereo/tape recorder so it would turn on and record...

There's a station in St. Louis that plays 7 albums every Sunday evening in their entirety. They call it the Seventh Day, and it's awesome. I think they've been doing it for 20+ years.

all we have here is the two for tuesday.two songs by one artist.sometimes they'll play a rock block which is like four songs.they need to be more creative here especially after hearing and seeing stuff they do at other stations.

If they ever play entire albums some day, Dark Side Of The Moon would be perfect.

Oh god! That's all classic rock stations play the way it is! They have completely burned me out on Pink Floyd. Dark Side of the Moon was a favorite, my first purchase when I converted to CDs. But now...I am tired of it. It was a classic for decades and then classic rock stations overplay it. Go figure. I almost start thinking Debbie Boone when I hear a cut from it now! :)

Our local station featured a full album on Sunday nights. It was great and a great way for labels to sell albums, especially for the new and obscure bands.

The rock of Saint Louis. Got it streaming right now.

They use the Arch for their radio tower.

Just kidding... but they should.

I never got burned out on that album fortunately, guess due in part because I never listen to live radio. I never listen to radio station music when I want to listen to music, I don't like listening to the retarded DJ's talking about all the stupid worthless horseshit between songs. I just have my own collection of music going.

I know how you feel though, because I was completely burned out on specific band songs that were played over and over and over again the entire summer of 76'. I was one misurable little kid that summer.

These are the two songs I remember getting the most airplay that summer. They always did the live versions too which were hella long. Good songs, but they burned me out that summer.

Yeah, I was grounded for the first month of summer vacation that year for hucking a huge loogi into the backside of a running hurricane fan in our classroom on the last day of school. The teacher saw me do it so she got on the horn and told my parents about it, they inturn grounded me for a month. During that month, the only access to the outside world I had was my little plastic pocket Realistic AM/FM radio powered by a 9v battery from Radioshack. That entire month, I couldn't listen to the radio for a half an hour without one of those two Peter Frampton songs coming on. It was rediculous!
