Im using the Win 7 RC in Parallels on a mac to run Quickbooks in and have messed around with it quite a bit. I hated Vista and it's what got me to switch to a mac, but Win 7 seems very stable and useable. I'll enjoy using it to access that one program...

I'm running the RC and it works well.

I have been running a dual boot of XP and Vista. I worked on a DVD project, so a lot of video feeds (6 camera's) and audio (40 tracks). When using Vista to render it was about 40% quicker than XP on the same machine. I expect Win7 to perform better. Never had any real issues with Vista though.

I just got an email that said retailers will begin selling computers preinstalled with Windows 7 on October 22nd.

I wonder how many bumps this date will take?
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
