:D Thanks! I haven't played or recorded any cover tunes in a LONG time until today. I just did it to try to get me motivated to write some new originals... it didn't work.  What are some of your favorite songs?

Sure, you ask that, but when we tell you, you tell us we're old, and you've never heard of those songs before.

  If it was false modesty, I don't think I'd use other vocalists for all of my songs.  I don't HATE my voice, if it's singing the right song. I have an awkward vocal range... I can't hit the high notes without going into a terrible sounding falsetto. It has to be just the right mid-range song for me to be able to cover it.

Thanks for the compliment though. I'll post a couple of requests tomorrow. I'm on leave, so I have the time to mess around with some songs. Going to bed now.

Yeah, it would be a big deal to work with either one of them, yes, even Neal. I know how people feel about Neal, with that being said, he is an amazing musician, when it comes right down to it. Do you have any finished music you can share Jim? I would love to hear more of your stuff.

No, but I'll learn it now and post something shortly.

Great... good luck.

Per your request Sir. Hope you like it! This one was actually a little tougher than I thought, because of the lack of having the vocal track as a guide. There are a couple little errors in it, but I got through it okay. Thanks for the challenge! :D

Yep, it is. Great song. Good work Jim.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
