It is a tribute band, but like none you've ever seen before. Even if you don't like the Eagles, IE are worth seeing, simply because of the quality of the musicianship and the singing. All members of the band are well respected working musicians in their own right, but when they come together in the Illegal Eagles they put on a superb show. During the show they also do a medley of well known classic rock songs. They tour the country playing 40-50 shows at a time, to audiences of between 500 and 1000. They can't do that without being very exceptionally good.
I'm not particularly a fan of the Eagles music, but I travel all over the country to see these guys perform.
Listening to Danny singing 'Desperado' I don't think there is another singer anywhere who can sing it as well.
