He needs to learn to post the name STEVE PERRY not SP if he wants to reach the loons in Twitterverse with his posts. That is the only way the Twitterverse can find his posts about Steve Perry. That is how the search engine works from full names. If he only tweets SP, then only his followers will find the post. If he wants Twitterverse to see it, he needs the whole name............ Just my 2 cents worth.

I'll believe it when I see the CD and have it in my hands. Then I'll believe that Steve has been doing the thing.

Well there was a prior tweet from Andrew leading up to the one I posted:

The question everyone has been asking me for months! Is Steve Perry actually recording a new album??? Well.....

If the loons saw that I am sure the tech savvy ones would simply go to Andrew's Twitter page to find out the answer.

You're right. That's what I did...........

I don't have a hard time believing Perry's "been doing the thing", it's a matter of when he'll finally un-clutch the thing.

Twitterverse is full of Steve Perry tweeters everyday pledging their undying affection for him, posting what Steve Perry songs they are listening to
on the radio, writing about seeing him in concert back in the day, etc. etc. Not unlike the posts that show up on MR, or any of the other Perry Tribute
websites that are online. There is no question that people love SP and will be standing in line to buy his new album when it is released....... 8)

I like the way you put that. It is true Steve has been recording things all these years. He just has let a handful of people hear them. Still not getting my hopes up. My hopes have been up before and they have crashed to the ground when it hasn't come true. When I see the picture and the news that the CD is being release then I'll get my hopes up.

I'm thinking Andrew's messages are for Andrew's followers, not Steve Perry's stal- er... followers. Clearly, Andrew is looking to reach his own readers. I'm sure his least concern is whether Perry obsessors can find his tweet or not. For one thing, he did use Perry's name. For another, what he said was people have asked him about new SP music - so Andrew was answering what HIS readers wanted to know. Andrew isn't here to be Perry's newsfeed, and he can refer to him in his tweets whatever way he wants to.

Logic, people. Logic.

In a word yes....who ever wants to follow the tweets - GREAT!

But it is for MR regulars and those that want to see a little more commentary from me from time to time and also a little humor - and breaking news :)

You'd better add "tweets = nutsack" to the Urban Dictionary.
