I've been watching football for over 30 years, and the one thing you can always count on is that the Lions will suck! It's one of the reasons that I've always been staunchly opposed to the Lions and Cowboys playing EVERY Thanksgiving. I'm a football purist, and prefer to watch teams who can actually play, on my favorite holiday of the year. Stuffing the god-awful Lions, and the perennial underachieving Cowboys down the nations' collective throat EVERY Thanksgiving is a fucking embarrassment to the NFL. The NFL goes out of their way to only allow competitive teams to be awarded Monday night games, so I'll never quite understand why the same rule doesn't apply on Thanksgiving! Fuck "tradition". Award Thanksgiving Day games to teams who are at least predicted to be competitive. I don't even want to watch the Patriots play on Thanksgiving, if they have an awful team! Although I don't think that even the Lions are sucky enough to go winless in two consecutive seasons, they will EASILY finish in dead last place again! In fact, I believe that they will be the only team in their division to have a losing record!
