Poison- "Nothing But A Good Time". I actually remember hearing this song working at one of my first jobs in a restaurant. I had the radio on back there, and this song came on. I thought "Damn... I know EXACTLY how these guys feel!!!".

You know what's funnier... I just clicked on the video, and saw that they start off in a kitchen... how's THAT for irony?

THe I-95 song by Jimmy Buffet

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i6OrOZwtmA

If you dont know what I am on about , I am referreing to the line

"We're you born an asshole, or did you WORK IT ALL YOUR life? "

This Labor day, Id like to raise a can of OLD MILWAUKEE to all you folks (you know who you are) who work hard at being an asshole.

Oh and a toast to the rest of of you (the vast majority of you) who work hard at being nice ! :D

How Could Everyone Forget?

Postby rockinfayrose » Tue Sep 08, 2009 2:04 pm

Labor Day is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

With that being said, what musician epitomizes the working class America better than Bruce Springsteen?

"Working on a Dream" and "The Promised Land" deserve a mention for Labor Day Songs!

Why isn't there a forum on Springsteen anway? C'mon Deano, get one started or I will...
