Extended jams and drum solos.

On the next tour, God willing...

I've enjoyed the extended jams the band is doing in their songs this tour, but what good rock concert doesn't have a drum solo? I know those are usually met with people heading off to get a beer, but if they'd have Deen do a short one in the middle of a song, 30 - 45 seconds, I think it would be killer. They could keep the extended jams in and do both where the song permits. Would rock the show up a bit more.

Actually, I kinda like what Perry did on his solo tour--have a short drum solo to open the show ending with this driving beat. Fade to black, then start first song.

I was just going to complain that the tribute bands never came to the midwest. What time?

I'll be sure to look for a review at any rate.

Spent the last hour trying to make connections but no go. Too many irons in the fire already. It's a great place and I know you'll be well received.
Have a great night tonight. :D

I seem to recall Deen doing plenty of short drum solos at the end of alot of tunes. Granted, there hasn't been a showcase just for Deen, but he does quite a few extended rolls, fills, quads, etc, etc, at the end of several tunes. ;)
