Your kids would love hiking through Old Mans Cave State Park if you haven't been.....its a beautiful place. They would also love the Pumpkin Festival in Circleville if you haven't been. :)

My kids enjoy better things that hiking, cause theyre ,um, KIDS :) You may not remember it when it comes to your kids, but a 3 year old enjoys a weekend at a water park or Kings Island or even a free toy from Happy Meal more than a fucking Pumpkin Festival in CircleFuckingVille, you douche :)
Fall colors take about 2.5 seconds to take in .

If you've never been then you don't know how much they would like it. Water parks and Kings Island is great but kids like the Pumpkin Festival and hiking the gorge at the state park as well. Hocking Hills is the most beautiful region in Ohio...I loved going there as a kid and so did my sons....its a popular area to visit especially in the fall. I hiked the gorge as well as the rim last year and it was great...got a lot of beautiful pictures that day. My thirteen year old niece hiked it with me and loved it. I'm sure your wife would enjoy it too. 8)

Is that the motto you used when you handed them the beerbong too when they were toddlers ?

That pic you shared above says more than 1000 words about you & your hobbies :)

Art is not my "hobby", Beh...although I've always done artwork as well as worked for family business's ...art has been my sole profession for the past year and a half. I've also always taken pictures wherever I go in part to reference later to paint....and I take some great pics so I'm looking to do something further with my photography as well. :)

Maybe THEY did the poster on their own? They already have a question mark over their head as far as this so called "Steve Perry" show, whihc was never EVER going to happen...

Just saying...

I'm confused and probably shouldn't even comment cuz I haven't read the facebook message or this entire thread....but, I'd have to agree with Neal being ticked off if this tribute band is being promoted like that. They fooled a lot of people at that "Bamboozled" concert (well, the people who didn't even know what the definition of the word)...and, wasn't there a cafe in Hawaii (this one?) that was also under the impression and sent out press release that Steve Perry was performing there?

If so many people weren't so illiterate they would have understood what "bamboozle" means. How do you go to anything that says bamboozle and expect the real thing? Of course how do we do any of the thousands of stupid things that are done in this country everyday....we can't even get it right when it comes to electing a proper government for fucks sakes!

Well define "you guys" then. cause there is a list of people who have been in feuds with Phyl, in all different topics.... and since you seem to be the one paying close attention to what is going on with Phyl, I guess youre the one who's obsessed with her, while the rest of us just have to put up with her over and over again.....

strangegrey wrote:There's more to this than Schon taking notice to the use of 'art' and/or the impression that Neal gets that these bands are presenting something fraudulant...I'm with Andrew on this....there's a bigger story here that what is current presented, and to suggest that Neal's 100% in the right here, is just being an Arneliot....

One thing, that i think stings, is that with Arnel singing for Journey (being a sound-alike replacement)....that makes very little difference between real Journey and say, Evolution, Escape or any of the other Journey tribute acts....It was way different when Journey was being fronted by already established lead singers like Perry, Augeri or JSS. But with Arnel it is a different story. No one knew him from a hole in the wall prior to his inclusion into the Journey lineup...

So there in lies the conflict. Journey tribute band singers and Arnel himself are not differentiated in ANY way possible. So that leaves the defining factor being the instrumentation. Perhaps Neal is just getting his back up over the fact that the only thing separating Journey from a tribute act is his playing? If that's the case, there's some merit behind his complaint...yet I will maintain it's tenuous at best. But Perhaps its more that he needs to voice his opposition to tribute acts so that he can brand-differentiate his singer.....if THATS the case, then his actions are pretty fucked up, because he's trying to do with words, what he was/is unable to do with his guitar.

If that is ultimately the case, perhaps it might be time to send the little pinoy back to manila and start thinking about this band's legacy again!
