I'm really starting to think that you must have a huge crush on him. You have no idea what we have said to each other in our conversations. I talked to this man every single day in message and many times on the phone over a few years period of time and he started that it was all about money to me again on the phone just a few nights ago...and hes said it many times before....so how is saying thta it's all about money to him being mean when he says it all the time? FYI...I just intended to rib him back a little since he does it to me a lot! Have you spoken to him in private as much as I have? Do you actually know him well? Close friends? I don't think so since he tells me he raraly talks to anyone from this board off of it other then me. ...so why do you but into something between me and him when you don't know what you're talking about?

Maybe because you keep dragging yours and his personal business onto the board. You're opening season on yourself by doing that. It comes on the board and people are bound to say things. If this stayed private between you two, no one would be able to say anything. Just saying.

You and Rhi are friends....you joke and tease each other all the time and many times its a joke or even a conversation between you two solely so how is my talking to Larry any different? What " personal business"? That we talk???? Larry liking money and being a tightwad is also public knowledge...he has mentioned it "publically" many times. I guess it has been wrong for Joepa to tease him about it too, then.

That's the point, we joke back and forth with each other, and participate in some of the same discussions, the same as the rest of this board does.

We don't bring up personal things or call each other out on things we said away from this board because we have respect for what is ok on board and what isn't. That wasn't joking, that was calling Larry out. I'd never do that to her. if I had any issue with somethig she said, I'd speak to her privately.

Dude...given that the Detroit Lions also play EVERY Thanksgiving, I think your theory needs a whole lot of work. Not even people in Detroit are dropping everything to watch that team...and that's been the case for MANY years!

I am LMAO, John!!! I was going to comment earlier and I thought naaawww, I'm going to

I wasted my time giving you encouragement to write again because appearently you have no talent and shouldn't waste any more time trying. Find a new direction.

Malone, you crack me up dude

This shit was always hard to explain. The way the NFL is set up, each year.. year in and year out is decided by division. Each team in the league for the next 10 years already has the opponents in place for next year's schedule. The thing is, is that you have that flex position for teams and that depends on each division winner from each division. The strength of schedule plays out those 2 or 3 extra games to where if a team plays a division winner, a Wildcard or runner up from the year before so to speak. That strength of schedule from the year before and your division standing could decide a home game against, say a team like Indianapolis, or an away game @ Dallas, depending on how you finish within your Conference and Division. There's always those 1 or 2 games that could decide that for next season's schedule.

I think this is the case for Indianapolis and New England. Indianapolis, last year, won their division and New England missed the playoffs at 11-5 last year so that probably played a factor into where that game was going to be played at for this season. Plus, the NFL loves rival games, esp late in the season, and even though they aren't in the same division, it seems the NFL uses that flex game in the rival that is New England/Indy every year. Money is to be made, along with ratings for the network, and these two teams have set the staple for rivalry in the NFL the past decade or so. At least that's how I always viewed it. :?

As for your question about an offensive player being penalized for pass interference away from the play.. well, I brought this up 2 weeks ago in the Steelers/Vikings game when Heath Miller was called for the EXACT same thing on a TD drive that ended up being 4 point swing. Some are more severe than others, a ref has to call it as they see it, it's their job, but the "severity" of it is where I had a problem with it. On the play, Millers was BLOCKED into his OWN player on that "offensive pass interference" call and was ticky tack at best. I can see if a player throws another down, or holds a player, or blocks someone in the endzone, but those plays where it's ticky tack needs to be better examined by the officials, esp since points are on the line.
