The Answer tearful in his return to the 76ers

The guy has made a fool of himself on more than one occasion in his career, including at the start of this NBA season, but this interview puts a whole new spin on the guy for me.

It's nice to see a guy with a true passion for the game, even if he has expressed it in an odd way the last couple years with the incessant bitching about coming off the bench. Those are tears of joy at being able to continue doing what he loves for the game, not for the money (he signed a veteran's minimum). Yeah, he's made plenty of $ already in his career, but that doesn't stop most guys from chasing the $. It's very refreshing to see him so overjoyed at just being able to play and finish his career playing the game he loves on his terms in my eyes and it at least softens the cancerous things he has done in the last couple years.

I've always respected his game for what he did at his size in a league of giants, but now I have some respect for the man himself too.
