Dark Side Of The Moon

#189 on the Billboard Hot 200. This album will never die. I don't consider it their best work, preferring the remastered version of "The Final Cut" but it's still a masterpiece in its own right.

I know it's sacrilege but I'll take Led Zeppelin II over IV.

I'm partial to III... Tangerine. I have all the Floyd albums but they are one band I never really got into...I think it's the miserable vocals. An acquired taste.

That's what I'm told. Listen in the dark with headphones on. Trouble is at my age if I do that I'm asleep within 5 minutes.

Exhub was a Pink Floyd fan, so I saw them in concert once years ago......it was a great show. Dark Side of The Moon is a classic, but a little too relaxed for me. Absolute favorite of theirs LIVE was Run Like Hell...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcgUm-fVCH8

man, some of my best "guys nights" in high school were just drinkin beer after beer and chillin to the floyd dvds. great stuff. too bad one of my best friends that i used to enjoy those nights with literally took after syd barrett and went looney after doin too many hard drugs... man, back in the day he used to just drink and a bit of weed here and there. went off to school and got all fucked up. miss the kid - he's better now than he was, i've seen him once this past month, it's like going to visit someone fresh out of the lobotomy room in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest... but at least he's not totally gone like he was before.

For me it's the remastered version of "Wish You Were Here".

Wow, are we the only 2 people in the world who liked "A Final Cut"? That album didn't get near the acclaim I thought it deserved. Yeah, it's dark and dreary but I liked it when none of my friends did. I'll still take "Animals" as my Floyd fav though.

I think it's ok...It's pretty much a Roger Waters solo album.
