A good idea to start his own solo band while Journey is still going strong?

Anyone around during this time will recall JSS reported exactly how he found out and
what went down. I don't know which rumors you're referring to.

I guess I just didn't pay enough attention since I pretty much shut that period of Journey out of mind with his inclusion. I seriously thought the band was done when I found out he was in the band and heard him. It never seemed right to me. In the end it wasn't the right fit and I'm glad it didn't take them long to figure that out or the band would have been doomed. I became interested in the band again once Arnel resurrected it and they started sounding good again. It's all about the chemisty and there was none with JSS. Not JSS's fault, but Journey is just not his niche. For me it's all about the music. I could care less about the politics. I don't hold any of the band up as role models...although Arnel seems close.

Fixed. :D

Seriously you have a right to your opinion that's cool, and I love Neal's playing but
jeez louise I was done after that JSS episode. I had seen SS and was expecting that
kind of energy from JRNY again, but that was not to be. But I got to see Neal rock one
last time with no greatest hits and that was awesome.

Good luck to 'em.
