WORST album you ever listened to??

Heard a few, but still the worst is Nirvana. That whole genre of "music" belongs in a landfill.

AGREED 110%. There are a few Toe Jam songs I like - Nothingman, Fade Away, Black, and especially their U2-ripoff Given to Fly. Alice in Chains was incredible, and there are some early kickass Soundgarten songs. Other than that, grunge was, is, and will always remain music's illegitimate bastard Rocky Dennis-esque son.

Yeah I'll eat my words a bit, lol, because I do like some AIC songs, especially "Down In A Hole" and love the guitars on "Them Bones". I never thought of them as grunge for some weird reason, lol. Never could stomach anything from Nirvana or PJ though.

I was going to mention Alice in Chains... they're great, and don't really fit into the stereotypical grunge mold at all. Soundgarden wasn't bad either.

Listen to "The James Young Group" album. That one's actually decent.

On on a Day Pass by JY is pretty lame, but is listenable every blue moon.
the James Young Group Raised By Wolves is very good. Helped by the fact that JY does not sing every song.

I have Bach's live dvd and there's a little plug for that project in the form of a video that opens the dvd and I was god awful. Bach almost shouldn't do anything unless Snake Sabo wrote it.

Obviously, you haven't heard Nevermore's "Enemies Of Reality". Absolutely. WORST. Production. EVER. Killer album though, and they did remix and remaster it a few years later. Still need to get that version.

I liked all the Augeri cds better than TBF. I think Arrival and Generations rank up among some of Journey's best.

Van Halen 3 is right near the top for me.

Van Halen III... I strongly disagree with you both... definitely an underrated gem, in fact one of my favorite VH albums. Definitely has musical growth and depth, but I guess most VH fans just want to rock, and this isn't much of a "rockin" disc.

Van Halen III COULD have been much better. The production was terrible. Sounded like it was recorded on my boom box. Dry sound with no life. Some songs aren't too bad but I think they needed a better producer for this one.

I still think "Once" is a fucking masterpiece. Production isn't the best, but I see past it on this album... it's honestly one of my favorites they've ever done. Solid throughout, IMO. I wish this lineup would have stuck around for at least 1 or 2 more albums.

So far.....the worst album review from Drew has been Duran Duran's, Red Carpet Massacre at a paltry 20%...

Lita Ford's, Wicked Wonderland got a 22%, and Tommy Skeotch's, Freak Bucket got the same 22%....

Billy Idol's, Happy Holidays got a putrid 27%, but only got 2% for songs....lol

Edhels, Universal gets a 25% from Drew and he says this ispossibly THE worst cd he's heard since the site began...lol
