I saw Frampton at JFK Stadium in June of 1977. He was so completely stoned, the crowd booed him. (We were the "Boo Birds" after all). He truly sucked. Lynard Skynard came on before, and the audience completely adored them (as did I). Getting into JFK was a story in itself. Wave after wave of thousands of people all pushing and shoving to get in by TWO gates. Lost my shoes... found my shoes and wish I hadn't (couldn't see the ground that's how crowded it was)... Ice chest dropped on my head.

Of all things, I saw Peter Frampton in Amarillo, Texas, 1981 or 82, long after his prime, but he was excellent.
