CONGRATS TO OLE "CRAZY LADY!!"

Postby MBPL » Fri Jan 15, 2010 6:09 am

Congrats to my beloved mom, Doris Banbury, for finally making her museum exhibit! In 2004 I sold a few of mom's private photos, she has about 200 in storage, to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Mom used to chase and "shoot" celebrities in New York during the 1950s, Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, etc. Mom's work along with other photographers will be featured in an exhibit that begins in New York-5/10, SF-10/10, Minneapolis, etc. and will feature a catalogue. Here is my mom's link, but there are no photos on the link. See below photo of the few pix I sold to SF MOMA. Pix quality looks better than what I put together below. :D Yay! :D I believe the exhibit shows various forms of Voyeurism including personal, celebrity, etc. Weird, but whatever. MBPL
