It was just a rough draft. Uncle Kenny pieced the bits together well. And so the hell what if one or two tracks are 'lipped'. He's Michael Fucking Jackson and he can Moonwalk on your mom if he wants.

Hmph.

Again, I DON'T care what they had to do!! But when people came in here claiming it was all live, thats the ONLY reason I put in my 2 cents. I really don't care. It's pretty OBVIOUS I am a HUGE fan.

Not talking to you Lynners, I'm still bitchy.

I wasn't going to bring it up...

No problem! The only reason I posted my original post should have been clear, when I quoted B saying the only song out of that entire list that was live was Beat It (which actually wasn't)....That was my original point....Carry on!

Not talking to you Lynners, I'm still bitchy at the atmosphere earlier here. Some give the impression of lipping being a mortal sin because of what those Journey dudes pulled a few years ago. :P

He lipped Thriller at rehearsal, big deal. Y'all can go back to ANY of his concert dvd's... he ain't sang that song live once since he recorded the damn thing and he probably wasn't gonna sing it at the O2 either. Nothing new there.

But there were many points in the movie where Mike stops while the music and backup singers keep going, as well as a fair number of bad notes. lol.. ... so there was plenty of singing going on. No it wasn't all live, but my opinion about it is that most of it was.

The stage show isn't even the point of the film anyway.

The atmosphere here was just fine till you crawled in with your head in the sand and ass on the air with "I'm right" written all over it. ;)

No it's not mortal to lipsync ( but we all know MJ wasn't immortal after all ) ;)

and it's been very common for MJ to pipe in the vox while concentrating more on the choreography and the dances and the entire show , while trying to save his voice for the real show.

I never said he didn't have the talent. But judging from the rehearsals , as fantastic as we all know the London shows wouldve been , it's also clear that there is NO WAY he couldve performed all those songs live and last through the whole tour. It's very sad to say this but His death saved him from what wouldve been one final humiliation.

You're talking to a mirror, right?

I finally got my copy of Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” & not a moment too soon. I recently got hired as part of an ensemble to dance at an upcoming private birthday party for a local political figure whose name I’m not allowed to mention, but who is a Michael Jackson fan, & so now I’m freaking out!!! This is a one-night only gig, but still I gotta be spot on b/c my client is not gonna be fooled if I fake any moves. I hear he knows every pop & lock Michael Jackson’s ever done & so I gotta practice, practice, practice!!!!!

To complicate things, the choreography calls for me to kiss a girl & I’m catching a lot of hell over it b/c it’s not some wussy little sissy-type kiss. I’m s’posed to grab my partner by the back of her head ---- this girl I never even met!!!! ---- & kind of angrily jerk her towards me & force her to kiss me while she’s struggling to pull away. My boyfriend’s not really happy about this whole part of the dance routine & so he’s giving me a bunch of grief b/c he doesn’t want me to do it.

Anyway, I’m just so happy I finally got my Michael Jackson “This Is It” DVD. I had to order mine online b/c I wanted the Collector’s Edition with the second DVD & all they were selling in the stores were the single disc copies. I love every dance move in this video. Misha Gabriel is my fave of all the dancers, but they are all so wonderful that it’s really hard to pick. I just so much wish this whole thing could have come to fruition. It would have been a spectacular event & I would have paid any amount of money to have been able to see this concert in person.

I heard MJ’s doctor recently got arrested & that he’s being charged with MJ’s death. Sorry if I’m a little late on all this news. Please don’t pistol whip me if this has already been said. I’ve been a little busy lately & I’ve kinda fallen behind on my current events.
