Y & T

Postby LtVanish » Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:09 pm

I pulled out some Y & T today, haven't listened to them in quite a spell. These guys are going to light the stage at MRF2. I am even more stoked about the Fest now, if that is even possible. Danger Danger followed by Y & T  How am I going to be able to handle day 3?

You know, I only heard that song for the first time 6 or 7 years ago on a rock radio station and was like, "Who is THAT, and how did I ever miss that tune before?!?"

Personally, I have all the Y&T material....some of it is unlistenable(real early stuff), and most is stellar.

Must haves in order of my faves:

Ten (She's Gone, Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, Come in From the Rain, and Hard Times)
Contagious ( Contagious, Armed & Dangerous, Temptation, and Eyes of A Stranger)
Down for the Count ( Summertime Girls, Anytime at all, Face Like an Angel, Hands of Time)
In Rock We Trust ( Rock n Roll's Gonna Save the World, Lipstick and Leather, Don't Stop Runnin')
Meanstreak( Midnight in Tokyo, Meanstreak, Take it to the Limit, Straight Through the Heart, Lonely Side of Town)
Black Tiger ( Don't Want to Lose, Forever, Barroom Boogie)
Earthshaker ( Dirty Girl, Rescue Me, Hurricane, I Believe in You)
Tom Brady IS the G.O.A.T.

Y&T... from my neck of the woods... got to meet them at a battle of the bands competition in the 80's, they were the headliner... nice guys... and they put on a great show...

I would of never known about this group if it wasn't for this website. I'm going to have to pick up at least the essential albums from these guys. All I have is the "Best of" cd.
