Musical Time Travel...

Postby Behshad » Sun Feb 28, 2010 1:15 am

OK.... Imagine its 1985..... You are about to record/produce/release an album with TEN hit songs,,,, BUT to your advantage, you have been given a time machine to travel to 2010 and listen to all the songs created between 2000-2010.... So you get to hand pick 10 songs from that decade and release them for the first time ,,,, (keep in mind , its for the 1985 audience so be careful !)

What would the TEN songs be that YOU think would get your album to top all the charts !???

It's 1985 & I'm 7-years old & sitting at my school desk in the second grade, staring out the window & day dreaming that Punky Brewster's pretty cute, why won't my mom let me watch MTV when Madonna does "Like A Virgin"?, where can I get me one of those cool talking cars like David Hasselhoff has in Knight Rider, when I grow up I'm gonna have a butler just like Mr. Belvedere & how can I get even with my brother for sticking an ice cube down my pants for the umpteenth zillionth time?

I would go ahead and release Toto's "Falling in Between" album, the 1985 crowd would never know what hit them just like the Isolation and Fahrenheit albums, Toto would still get no respect.
