C'mon, dudes! What about LINKIN PARK?!? :) Seriously, Kip Winger's been rapping in his music for a long time now, and somehow it's cool everytime he does it.

Jay-Z on We Are The World remake:

One of those is Jay-Z, who admitted:

"I know everybody is gonna take this wrong: 'We Are the World,' I love it, and I understand the point and think it's great. But I think 'We Are the World' is like [Michael Jackson's] 'Thriller' to me. I don't ever wanna see it touched.

I'm a fan of music. I know the plight and everything that's going on in Haiti. I applaud the efforts: [Millions have been raised] through text [donations] to Haiti. So I appreciate the efforts and everything, but 'We Are The World' is [musically] untouchable like 'Thriller' is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it's gonna be untouchable."

Saturday Night Live came out with a remake of the We Are The World remake. It's called "We Are The World Raising Awareness Of The We Are The World Remake Disaster." I love that one guy's crazy Eddie Vedder impersonation. Here's the video:

Fine, you changed it. I took it out. You can edit it out on your reply. Uncalled for, Steve.

I can't listen to the original one anymore, either. The lyric about God changing stone to bread turns me off. In the Bible, Jesus was TEMPTED by Satan to turn stone into bread and he basically told him to take a hike, that ain't happenin'.

There's some decent rap out there... but unfortunately decent rap seems to have died off in the past decade.
