Don has managed to book gigs in the least opportune places and times for me, preventing me from getting to a single show for the past few years.

Perhaps this isn't a coincidence!

He's ducking me dude, no doubt. Probably thinks I'll expect a check out of him for all the free promotion. But I'm committed to seeing Dokken this year, no matter what. Maybe it would help if I actually checked their tour calendar now and then.

P.S. Spruce Bringspain is an amped-up nostalgia act. The only thing of his I like is "Blinded By The Light," and by that I mean the kickass Manfred Mann cover. One time I heard the original tune come on FM and I was horrorstruck by how gay the original version by "The Boss" sounded, down to the murky vocals.

Your show would draw a crowd, but I would not travel to see it, even if it was 20 miles away. I'd much rather see Winger, Dokken, Scorps, Ratt, Trixster etc.. anytime over that lineup.

Clueless? I have a lot of Bruce's albums, nothing that spectacular I must say, I listen to Winger more often. I understand where you are coming from, you only listen to artist that sell 100M albums, its ok you are one with the masses, I'm sure Rolling Stone magazine told you to do so, to love the Boss, he can do no wrong. My ear drums are different than yours, Kip Winger has a better voice.

It's mixed better, it sounds better, and Chris Thompson's voice is WAY better than Bruce's. Chris can actually sing. Bruce is a strummer who just wants to sing because he doesn't want anyone else in the band to sing. You know, like Tom Petty.
