Wait a minute- are they getting squeezed or are they getting calls? You just said Mo was getting strikes 6 inches off the dish, and now you say pitchers are getting squeezed? Make up your damned mind dude.

Newsflash.....Lester and Okajima were getting squeezed, and Mo was getting paint plus 6 inches.....

Yeah, thought so. Umps are against the Sox. Gotcha. For a real smart guy, and I mean that sincerely, you sure argue really weak.

You thought so what? Veterans get calls (especially if you are a Yankee). There was a play at first as well where they called a Yankee safe, when replay showed it was CLEARLY in Youkilis's glove before the foot hit the bag. That missed call extended an inning where the yankees scored runs....

Just like where Kobe and Lebron get frequent flyer miles while driving to the rim, but Kendrick Perkin's calf pulse moves his foot .00000000001 of an inch and he is called for traveling......

BTW, Deano....i've acquired a degree in Philosophy, which includes Inductive Reasoning(Generalization types, Syllogisms, and Basic Induction), Deductive Reasoning, and Abductive Reasoning....so when you make claims like that make sure you know who you are talking to.....

Fuck off. I could care what your fuckin degree is in nor who the fuck I am talking to. The fact is and this cannot be refuted, is you whine about everything in sports. You would be the worst fuckin teammate. All you do is bitch and if you only knew how fucking stupid you look, saying, "well my team gets screwed and the other team who just beat my ass again, gets all the calls." You sound like a fuckin baby. Get over it, it's sports, and with the exception of the NBA, calls in the four major sports are all legit.

I notice you never commented on the obvious 'bad call' in the Duke v Butler game with 11:30 to go that clearly favored Duke. You know what I am talking about...the Butler 'charge' that was clearly a block. You never heard me bitch about that, yet Butler lost by a single bucket. Grow a pair of balls for Christs' sake.

First of all Deano, I'd rather have a teammate like myself than a teammate like, for instance, Drew Bledsoe or JD Drew who need a crash cart in order to prove they have any emotion at all....I'm passionate about sports...hell, about ANYTHING.

Umpires are known to have 'Their own' strike zones....Are you fuckin kidding me?!? So MLB's strike zones aren't good enough. I'm gonna be known as a pitcher's ump, and he's gonna be known as a batter's ump. Please. That smacks of Collusion.

As far as the DUKE game...if you are refering to when Howard bowled over Zoubek that was clearly a charge.....not to mention Howards forearm shiver to Singler's grill as Heyward was launching his prayer as time ran out....

So Bledsoe doesn't show emotion? Does that make him non competitive? I know the guy, went to school with him. Trust me, he had the fire in his gut. A lot of guys don't 'show' emotion. Big deal. A Rod doesn't show any emotion, so I bet he sucks too, huh?

Oh thanks for the baseball education. I had no clue at all umpires had their own strike zone. What you are saying all along is, the zone is good for the Yankees but not for the Red Sox. Unbelievable.

LOL, in your eyes it was. Not the eyes of most who were there, most noticeably, Clark Kellog.

.....not to mention Howards forearm shiver to Singler's grill as Heyward was launching his prayer as time ran out....

LOL, I knew you find something to bitch about in perhaps the greatest NCAA Tournament game ever. Had Heyward made that 'prayer,' which by the way was only an inch off, I bet you would up in arms about some stupid 'no call forearm foul against Singler." And you would be laughed at. You call it a prayer, but if you ask me, that last second shot looked pretty fuckin composed to me, and I bet he would make a couple out of ten if given the chance. Oh but I forgot, you erroneously called for a the game to be won by Duke, "big" I might add. Face it, you whine incessantly, bitch even more, and I have to tell ya, you don't know shit about sports, if you think there was ever a 'forearm foul' coming to a Butler player in the last seconds of that game.

I find it hilarious that all the bad calls go against Duke or the Red Sox, but never go against the Yankees or Butler.

Too much.

PS- So basically, the guy with the degree in Philosophy, which includes Inductive Reasoning(Generalization types, Syllogisms, and Basic Induction), Deductive Reasoning, and Abductive Reasoning, just got destroyed by the guy with a Political Science degree.

I'm not having a pissing contest with you, Deano....especially since you've been training with PeePeeBarfait.

All I'll say is I know sports. I'm not omniscient like yourself, however. Where the only things you've had to be excited about in life is a LONE 116 win season, and that one weekend in the summer of '92 when you got together with the ghosts of the Brother's Grimm and concocted all these tales of ribaldry.....

BTW, IF Heyward would've made that shot I would have IMMEDIATELY chastised Krzyzewski for telling Zoubek to purposely miss that shot....as it is I think that miss by Brian was a bad call independent of the outcome.....bad coaching there. Duke won in spite of K....

It's not a pissing contest. I just exposed you as a crybaby. Crybabies don't belong in sports.

I love how you pick and choose your teams..Boston Red Sox after they finally win a World Series, and Duke Basketball, lol. Ok dude, whatever you say.

It's like the ultimate sports mercenary fan. I got zero respect for those types. Every time I ever ask someone, "Ok, how is it you are Yankees fan, a Patriots fan, a Michigfan football fan, and a Lakers fan?" (yes I know people like this), they can't articulate any legitimate reasons why they like said team.

You are seriously going to sit there ( i assume you are sitting, based on your Avatar) and tell me I'm a frontrunner?

Just for the record I've been a Duke fan since '82....Sox fan since game 2 of the '75 WS, Celtic fan since '80, and I'm not even a Pat's fan...like MG said I'm a Lion's fan. And finally, I'm not really a HUGE hockey fan but have been watching the Bruins since '85...as far as college football goes I'm a Penn st. fan......explain where the front runner comes into effect again?

I've been a Red Sox fan since the early 80s, so I was in the fold before they had any real success.

I became a Dallas Cowboys fan when I was just a little kid. First game I remember was the second Super Bowl against the Steelers, which they lost. Anyway, I really haven't followed the team very closely in several years now and am actually probably more of a Colts fan now since I've lived in the area for going on 13 years now.

Similarly, I've been a long time Lakers fan as well. I don't remember how I even started watching them but, when I was a teenager, I remember staying up until almost 1am watching all their games. I loved the rivalry against the Celtics. That being said, I don't watch them much anymore and am really not much of an NBA fan overall anymore anyway. I don't even really care for the Pacers even though they're the local team. Last time I enjoyed an NBA game was when the Lakers beat the Pacers in the finals about ten years ago or whenever that was.

As for NCAA basketball, I used to follow the Tar Heels since I was a big Lakers fan and James Worthy graduated from there, along with Jordan, of course. I don't really follow them that much anymore and just follow Indiana teams in general.

Anyway, all that being said, the two teams I follow the closest now are the Red Sox (still an avid fan and MLB in general) and the Colts being a distant second.

StocktontoMalone, I was pulling for Duke, too - but I think the Devils got a lot of calls their way that probably tipped the game. I can understand how Butler fans would be frustrated.

Duke will ALWAYS get the calls, especially the 50-50's. The charge/block that went their way (charge call) against Baylor changed the entire game.

Royals suck again.  What's new. Worst bullpen in baseball. Wasting a good starting rotation.

Yeah ... when the White Sox were in the World Series he was carpet bagging with them and, more recently, he was donning a Dodgers cap and hanging out with Manny "Vitamin B" Ramirez. Sounds like a really loyal fan to me!

Those activities don't make him any less a die hard fan of the S.F. Giants. As you know the White Sox chose Don't Stop Believin as their theme song, and when that song helped to motivate the team to World Series status, Steve was INVITED to the game as the song's creator and then INVITED again to the final game. ANY baseball fan given that opportunity would have enjoyed that. Also, a desire to see Manny Ramirez, one of the most amazing baseball players, doesn't make SP less of a S.F. Giants fan. Should he have worn his S.F. Giants hat in Dodger camp?
