So today is the day when GI Jimbo's all time fave comes out. Anyone getting it ??
I havent seen it, but I thought for $20 bluray, you cant go wrong , specially if this will be the movie that will show what my bluray player and TV is capable of.....

I actually haven't bought it yet, but probably will today. Thanks for asking!  I'm not sure if I'll buy it on DVD or Blue Ray yet though. I wonder if they included any extras or not?

LOL. I had this 2 months ago.

Watching it in your livingroom will do nothing for you if you have already seen it in 3D.

I love my Laptop capability of HDMI cable out to my TV, download a movie via torrent, watch it, then dump it.

Tried it once. Way too much hassle for me to bother with it. It's easier just to wait for the movie/game to get into the stores

Only albums I own are some Journey (no Revelation), Toto, Luther Vandross, Dire Straits, Disiz La Peste (french rapper) and James Taylor. So I rarely buy albums anyway.

I saw it twice in IMAX. Was better the first time. But I'm going to pick up the Blu-Ray this weekend because it'll look sweet on my 50" Hitachi and Bose surround system. :D

For what it's worth, I thought it looked VERY good in Blu-Ray. 3-D is fine and dandy, dandy and fine, but I never thought it was extremely clear (and headaches and the resulting fuzzy vision every 20 minutes didn't help). The 2-D conversion looks downright awesome, and there was probably more depth to the picture than anything I've seen.

It's not the greatest movie ever made by any stretch of the imagination, and they probably could have done a lot more than they did. That said, James Cameron has to be one of the best storytellers working in movies right now. With many directors, this thing would have fallen flat (and I'm NOT talking about effects), and it's a credit to him that it works.
