anyone here have an apple laptop?

I need help, just had my hard drive replaced and safari is loaded.
Everytime I try to play youtube.com...my computer shuts off and goes to a report status...
anyone know why and what to do? never did this before...

Maybe a problem with the Flash plugin? Go to adobe.com and download the latest Flash player.

Thanks for nearly killing me with that jim. I have to remember to not read this board while eating/drinking. Anyway i never said that sounded good to me if you read what i said. I just hope you've got something covering you're feet.

I Googled for you and it suggests that you may have an old version of Safari, or you may not have all the latest OS X patches from http://www.apple.com/support/ or you may just need to switch to Firefox if worst comes to worst. Try updating Safari and getting the support downloads. What version of OSX are you using (I think it should be under About This Mac on the Apple menu) and what version of Safari?

Might also consider a trip to the Genius Bar too

okay I just tried that and...nope..nothin....anything else I can do...pop up blocker is not on and I did get a clean install of Adobe...this is frustrating me...

Sarah, its says its 10.4.11 for the OS X.....I'll try installing Firefox...thanks for all your help...
