By the way, regarding the topic... go for it. It's 2 years. That's nothing.

We all can learn things from books and film but to really get a better understanding of the world, different people, cultures and landscapes...a better understanding of life, in general..... is to experience it/them first hand. Right now your children only have an understanding of their parents and the small Texan world around them and what the media feeds them that they've seen, so, although it may be hard at first to let go of the comfort zone of what they have known, it will be good for them to expand their horizons and a good lesson in how to change and adapt and become less fearful of change and other parts of the world which they don't know of yet. I would look at it as an opportunity for them to become more well rounded, more "cultured", more educated through experience.

Who wouldve thought it'd take you 9246 posts to make a statement I agree with !

Now when are YOU finally going to make one that I agree with? :P

The day you quit posting here

The only reason I stay is to make your life worth living by giving you a purpose and also as someone to offload all of your baggage onto. :P

I suggest you quit posting and you will be surprised that I might find some other reasons to make life worth living, VagLover :)

You don't have to continue to prove what a jerk you are. I got it a long time ago. Life is good, B...find a better purpose rather than that of an internet bully. You'll be happier for it. Thank me later when you experience the effects of being a nice guy. Its never too late to change your hat from black to white, cowboy.

Its never too late for you to leave and never come back :)

Not for you either. 8)

I enjoy it here , but you dont.
I support this place, but you dont.
I have friends here, but you dont .

8)

Seems you only have a net life while I'm out living life.

and since I am staying out of your dashwarrior life, stay the fuck away from my net life.

Here's your wake up call....

You can't make me. 8)

Seems like youre a lot more interested in my net life than your own living life

Bah! Who are you trying to kid? You're the one that has been following me around, talking about me even when I'm not around and constantly being all up in my biz. You're like crazed paparazzi. I must say..it's been weird.

Love Medieval Times! I also went to the Renaissance Festival near Atlanta every year when I lived there. Fun stuff! 8)

I agree with this, that it would initially be hard on your girls but they would end up being tremendously enriched by the experience. Two of my kids did study abroad in France and Germany and came home different young men.

I would add that you've "been there, done that" with the school business in Texas, so whatcha gonna do for the next 30 years? Take TRS a few years from now and become one of those boring old-fart ex-coach, ex-superintendents that hang out at the Mini-mart and drink coffee? My vote is go for it.

Har har. Don't leave your drinks unattended.

I should roll in about 10 Friday night, having sneaked, snuck, whatever away from my convention for a little while.
