That was an ass-whomping of the highest order.

I must say, while I lived there I got very into being a fan of the Coyotes... and seeing the handshakes at the end... and my formerly-beloved big Coyote head on the ice... that made me just a little sad. A LITTLE. Of course, I've sat in that arena many times and watched the Wings stomp the crap out of them, so it was not anything new, either.

My other dark horse prevailed! The Wings certainly aren't playing like they were out of playoff contention and lucky to be there. They're playing like well, the Wings of old.

The best series remaining has to be VAN-CHI. Last year VAN held a lead in each game and blew it. The key this year will again be Luongo and also the fact that VAN can roll three lines out there that can score, and CHI has big time goalie problems. Friday night, in Chicago. BJG will be stuck watching Bombay Black or Manhattan Green or some other scarab looking/sounding band. :D I say get out, sneak away, bring Andrew, and watch. Show him what a real sport is like in the USA, not some gay cricket cap where dudes strap on layers of the Brisbaine Journal to their shins and prance around like Tinkerbell pixie Fags. Vancouver steals one in Chicago and gets it done this year in 6.

SJS and DET is also great. I say DET wins in 6 due to goaltending and experience. not to say SJ doesn't have experience, but Nobakov is horse shit.

well, I'm thinking he'll be a little busy, but I gotta figure this out. Probably ALL of these guys who are carrying smartphones are gonna get bothered by me for scores and updates. I'll also employ other friends to text me score changes. This damn bar better have TVs showing this game.

I don't even know for sure Behshad- the hot blonde on Canucks.com said "Vancouver will enjoy 4 full days off between series" and they wrapped up against LA Sunday. So, M,T,W,TH is 4 days...i am assuming Friday is the day.

Kim's on the north side ... just fags there. I'm on the south side ... right where the violence is.  :x Some idiot was walking around a block from my work about 3 weeks ago pumping rounds into the air out of his shotgun, pointed it at the cops when they came and they wasted him.

Wow, with the CAPITALS & the DEVILS both eliminated (the only two teams that I was actually scared to death of and would of had the Pens losing to them) the Pens now control their own destiny and can pave their way towards the finals. With Boston beating the Sabres, the first 3 seeded teams are now gone. The Eastern Conference is now run through Pittsburgh, giving the Pens home ice throughout. Nice turn of events.

Bring on a panting Montreal team. I give them MAJOR props, facing one of the league's most FEROCIOUS teams on the ice, and being down 3-1 in the series and come back to win it, 4-3.

Bring it on.

Wow - hope that prediction is right! I agree - Halak has been amazing. If he stays in that mental 'zone' they've been talking about, who knows what could happen.

Yes we can! :D glad you're rooting for em too Triple S.
We didn't get the game on TV last night but that didn't stop me from
stalking the sports score channel and saying my puck prayers until the very end.
What in the name of skates does CBC mean by not carrying The Montreal game anyway?
I so wanna slug them for that.

It was on TSN - you don't get TSN? Yeah - been a Habs fan since I was a wee one. Then the Flames came to town and took over my heart, but of course they're out so I'm happy to root for the Habs - no Canucks love here unfortunately even though I live in BC now!
