Finishing up two "new" songs from the last album sessions that we intend to throw on yet another greatest hits album that we will flog off closer to Christmas. And yes, that is confirmed.

Meanwhile...

Bob-

I have contemplated for weeks to write you and finally deciding to do so now based on the items coming out about prices.

I attended a few Bon Jovi shows this past winter/spring and wanted to share some insight. The 1st one was in a nosebleed section and i felt a million miles away. The band is a long way from their catwalk days where every fan mattered. It felt like they only cared about those upfront. The stage was distracting & unimpressive and everyone in the balcony sat on their butts.

A week later after being unemployed for 8 months I scored a new job. I felt elated. I decided to treat myself to something special, a VIP ticket to an upcoming Bon Jovi show. I was surprised to find tickets available to a major market show still available. The price tag, $1100. I would like to state that I am foolish for paying this but felt as if I deserved it after my ordeal.

So I fly in, get to the arena for my VIP treatment and for the next few hours, was treated like shit by everyone from arena staff to band staff to Jon Bon Jovi’s brother. Someone (a heavier girl) wanted a picture with Matt BJ…and he rolled his eyes in a manner that was disgusting. A friend overheard one of the crew guys referring to the fan club as the “fat clubâ€

I'm not sure how much of that story to believe, but, if true, it's pretty fucking terrible. But anyone that would pay $1,100 to see Bon fucking Jovi deserves to get humiliated. Doesn't make it right, though.

Anyone who would pay that kinda money for a "meet and greet" type deal is insane. You know that at best, the guy(s) will turn out to be really nice to you for 2 minutes, quickly sign something and maybe snap a pic, and then move you along like cattle for the next scmuck who bought such a package. They won't even remember your name if you bump into them 10 minutes later at the end of the thing. At worst, they'll be arrogant dicks and your pre-conceived notions of them as heroes will quickly be blasted to smithereens.

It just doesn't make any sense to me.

This seems a little far fetched, although, I'm certain there are many bits and pieces of truth!!
I can only say ...I have never spent anywhere near that amt. of $$$ for front row tickets
to a BJ show and noone ever called me a fat fan ...to my face!! I also don't recall seeing
any fans anywhere just sitting on their asses ...but I can see how I could overlook ...umm Bob?!?

I did spend almost that amt. to attend MRFII!!!I haven't written about that experience, yet,
but I will say that I would do it again in a heartbeat ...waaaaaaaaaayyy better than
any BJ show I have ever attended!!

I'm glad you found MR Fest II to be a great experience. It was for me, too, just like the first one. It was a pleasure meeting you and your other tequila swigging partner.
