Yep, and when a player dives, it's 2 minutes in the box for unsportsmanlike conduct. By the way, only the pussy euros fake dives. The North American players never dive.

And the offside rule makes perfect sense if you have actually played the game, youd understand it.

It does, LOL? Hell, just keep you read defensemen back as far as the goalie. There would be no way to ever score, not that they score anyway.

Also, I can guarantee you that your kid will eventually play soccer as it is the most popular sport in schools these days... ;) I find it hard to believe that you would be a strict father and not let your kid enjoy the sport he enjoys just cause daddy is too stubborn to understand and enjoy it

It's popular because it takes a single ball and 20 kids on each side can play school soccer. It's free babysitting for the yard teacher. Kids don't enjoy that shit. They'd much rather play football or basketball or baseball, but those sports are more advanced than the shit that is soccer. You guys who continuously make the claim about the "most popular sport" makes me sick. It's the most popular because ANYONE can play it. You don't have to be good. Just run around in circles screaming like a fucking banshee; that's all it is.

Its is popular cause its easy to learn and hard to master :) And it will remain the most popular sport in the world in your and your kids' life time. Get used to it ;)

Wyatt will never play soccer in his life. If I ever see him with a soccer ball I am throwing that thing away.

Hard to master? They should call the game, 'Two goalies having a picnic between kicking the ball out of bounds while players fall down, cry, then get up and throw their hands in the air' seriously, watching some of these players grimace after falling down, was like watching my son cry one of those SILENT cries where his face was contorted into some ghastly shape and no sound was heard....Spain found their gameplan late in regulation...fake injuries enough so a Dutch would get a red card...

Shields & Yarnell could master this game....

Give it a rest already. We get it; you two tards hate soccer.

You don't like it; then take your pudgy ass someplace else than in front of the tv when the match is on. Simple as that.

I'm glad Tour de France is back on again!

I'm just glad it's over. If I have to listen to that beehive sound in the break room at work, one more day, I'm just going to run my head through the cinder block wall. You hear all these people in there cheer, then awwwwwww. Cheer, then awwwwww. What's the score? Zero to Zero. No kidding? I would watch when the US was playing, and it did get fun at times, but overall, that sport is about as exciting as eating a rice cake.

soccer still sucks... past present and future...

GOLF RULES... especially this week at St Andrews...
baseball rocks, so need to get up to the new Target Field to catch the Twins... if your team is in the hunt for the playoffs, the next two months are great.

I was stationed up near St Andrews on a tour with the US Navy. I once got lucky on the beach in St Andrews in full view of that golf course. (it was at night there wasnt nobody on the links : -) . Knocking down twelve pints of beer and chasing down the women of St. Andrews is a far better sport than playing golf at St Andrews!

So you mean to tell me you wouldn't have let Mia Hamm sit on your face back in her prime? Please. You have a secret soccer fetish, Dan, and we all know it. You probably love that Euro club music, too.
But around town, it was well known...when they got home at night
Their fat and psychopathic wives
Would thrash them within inches of their lives!

Baseball is excellent.
It takes 3 hours ,and at any given time during said game ,any team takes turns in having everybody but one sitting down
on a bench,eating sunflower seeds,chewing tobacco or picking/rolling/eating boogers.
Riveting.
