Perry wrote a song on his FTLOSM about Schon and Cain, called Anyway.

Highest Ground off Soul Sirkus was written for Augeri, and it wasn't too kind either.

Actually, Deano, I always thought WCTNGOF as his departure song. Every time I hear that song, I get misty eyed wondering if SP sang it as his last song on his last Journey album.

We all know TBF was an anomaly...was not supposed to happen. SP said himself in the GQ interview, that he meant to end his Journey after ROR.

I thought Jon already explained that WCTNGOF was sort of an ode to the fans, gaining fruition from Cain standing in a parking lot after the last show of the Frontiers tour, wondering what was going to become of the band and when they would see the fans again, almost wishing that it wasn't the last show as there was a lot of uncertainty at that moment in which direction the band would be going next.

I think you're right about Jon's re-collection, GB. I'm just saying from my perspective, looking at what happened in hindsight, and listening to how SP sang this song, just tears me up inside--every time  .
