"Sixteen Candles" was on VH1 over the weekend.
It got me thinking....I've seen this movie like umpteen times....but I still love & watch it.
...as I do with all things from that era....
So, I ask you:

you have the floor...

for granted, Perry, Wilson, Pat, Delp, Deyoung, on and on, these were freaks of nature , as much as I appreciate
the previous generations of singers, the eighties brought us a range of talent that likely will never be seen again..!

In the movie, "Risky Business", Tom Cruise's friend (played by Curtis Armstrong) was named "Curtis Dalby"....Dalby is my Maiden Name.
Nice to know that my name is associated with the 80s and with "After The Fall", my favorite Journey song....which was featured in this movie...

If you're trying to prove to us that you're nuts, it's working.

The things you experience during that time will stick with you for the rest of your life. It's scary to think what the kids of today will be nostalgic for in 30 years.

I'm one of the select few who loves Jan's fusion, AOR/rock, AND soundtrack work!

Not to mention Don Johnson...sigh! He doesn't scream 80's he was just good to look at.

I liked the first two seasons, but the novelty wore off quickly...I'd say Moonlighting has it trumped by a LONG way, IMO.
