There are some great Toto shows out there. A couple are unofficial that have not been released (live in den bosche 93, live at the Montreux Jazz Fest '91 (Jeff Porcaro's last show), live in Gempal '04 (all live show with some great tracks) two recent official (albeit touched up) shows with Bobby Kimball have some great moments and song arrangements, in addition to phenomenal sound quality.

Journey fans do NOT like anything to do with the Rock n Roll HOF. To them it is kryptonite. They cannot stand it, or anyone in it. Jealousy.

Don't listen to him. :lol: I was checking out clips to the R&R Hall of Fame concert on Youtube, and it looks like a great show. Mick Jagger joins Bono, Fergie and Will I Am (whoever that is) on stage for Gimme Shelter. Gotta love that. Then Springstein joins them for I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. I'm not a big U2 fan, but I can get into this.

Yep, and I'm going to check out the Fleetwood Mac show as well. They always put on a good one. I love Stevie Nicks voice, and Lindsey Buckingham's guitar playing. That band sure sounds different without Christine though. I hate it that she's not with them anymore.

Try YES 90125 LIVE. Amazing. Genesis Invisible Touch '86 also contains perhaps the best live drum solo in history (save Steve Smith's). :D

Ehh.. I dunno, I remember thinking the last time I saw that show that "some bands don't translate all that well in a live scenario". ... Does it "hold up"?

As much as I dig Phils drum work, Chester Thompson's drumming always left me wanting...that solo is relatively "great" but doesn't hold a candle to anything Smitty, Vinnie Colaiuta or Simon Phillips could churn out. iMHO

I love this DVD concert - Very slick. (Has his alter ego in part of it Macphisto) Live from Sydney- Zoo TV - U2
Great sample of concert - two songs - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0QtzU5h ... 1B&index=5
Takes it down a notch: Far Away and So close - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zxD35Ol ... re=related

But take away the slickness and for a great DVD of them more stripped down raw rock concert experience, just the music and the crowd, I love

Go Home - Live from Slane Castle
Sample of concert - Elevation = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lCXB_68VfQ
Pride = http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BsF9tQ0 ... re=related

Love them both for different reasons, but U2 at the top of their game both times. Tremendous concerts.
